Requirement contract for maintenance painting of apartments at Albany Houses, I & II, located in the Brooklyn neighborhood. The contract term is three years, with the option to extend for up to two one-year renewals, at the sole discretion of NYCHA. NYCHA intends to separately solicit and award a series of nine requirement contracts for maintenance painting at specific developments. NYCHA will award only one of the requirement contracts in this bid series to the lowest responsive, responsible individual contractor, subject to an award limiting provision. In its sole discretion, NYCHA may award up to one additional contract(s) to a contractor that has already been awarded the maximum under Step 1, if other contracts in the series remain unawarded. Pre-qualification requirements: The bidder must prequalify as an Approved Supplier via NYCHA-Paint Pre-Qualification List (PQL) and appear on the active approved vendor list. Depending on the contractor's bid adjustment factor, apprenticeship program participation enrolling Authority residents may be required, and compliance with Section 3 (Apprenticeship Program) is mandatory. Section 3 REO & OEO plans and the M/WBE Utilization Plan & Waiver must be submitted via eComply. Section 3 or M/WBE documentation must not be included in the bid submission via iSupplier.
