AHCB has been selected as the CMAR for the Satellite 1 Concourse Project at O'Hare International Airport. Bid Package 11, all construction inside the Airport Operations Area, includes the following: Trade Package 41: Satellite 1 Interior Glazing and Mirrors: This trade package includes the furnishing and installation of the interior glazing and mirrors per the project plans and specifications for Satellite Concourse 1. This includes the interior storefront, interior glazed doors, glass handrails, and mirrors. Trade Package 42: Satellite 1 - Terrazzo: This trade package includes the supply, installation and finishing of all terrazzo flooring per the project plans and specifications for Satellite Concourse 1. Work includes but is not limited to terrazzo flooring, terrazzo base, divider strips, primer, grinding, sealing, finishing, and all accessories necessary for this scope of work. Trade Package 43: Satellite 1 - Tile: This trade package includes furnishing and installation of all floor and wall tile for Satellite Concourse 1. Work includes setting materials, grout, trims, and transitions. In addition, the scope includes substrate preparation, waterproofing where required, layout coordination, and cutting/finishing around penetrations and fixtures as per the project plans and specifications. Trade Package 44: Satellite 1 Carpet and Flooring: This trade package includes the furnishing and installation all carpet, resilient flooring, base, transitions, and accessories for Satellite Concourse 1. The work includes substrate preparation, moisture mitigation where required, adhesives, patterns, accessories, and equipment necessary for this scope of work. Trade Package 45: Satellite 1 Polished Concrete: This trade package includes grinding, honing, and polishing concrete slabs to achieve the specified finish, sheen, and aggregate exposure for Satellite Concourse 1. The scope includes surface preparation, patching or repairs, joint filling, densifier and sealer application, and protection of adjacent finishes.
