Renovation of a medical facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a three-story above grade medical facility.
The work consists of renovation of existing facility including: conversion of first-floor office space into a therapy gym; conversion of existing Hair Salon & Spa into an ADL (Activities of Daily Living) Suite; cosmetic renovations throughout first, second, and third floors including ceilings, paint, flooring, and lighting; demolition and reconfiguration of select rooms to create larger patient care areas; and conversion of existing patient rooms into larger patient rooms with associated utility relocation. Work includes all necessary mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and finish upgrades. A bid bond or certified check for five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds. Contractors and subcontractors must not appear on the federal debarment list. Equal opportunity and nondiscrimination in contracting will be enforced, and minority-owned, women-owned, and small businesses are encouraged to participate. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in the bidding process.
