The City is seeking a Contractor who can provide a Waste Transfer Site for the municipality's solid waste streams (organic, garbage and yard waste). The successful proponent must have the appropriate Provincial, Federal and Municipal approvals for the site that is proposed at the time of proposal submission. The site must be open to the public for material drop off (Monday - Saturday) and the proponent will be responsible for the receipt, separation and bulking of the material. Transportation of the waste to the necessary landfill and/or processing facilities will be tendered separately. The estimated start date of the agreement is Spring 2027.
