The County of Santa Clara Parks and Recreation Department ("County") seeks to gather information from qualified firms/consultants/organizations to operate, maintain and manage Fisher Ranch in Coyote Creek Parkway County Park. This facility has been managed under a concessionaire contract for events, including food service, entertainment services, and amusement facilities. The County is interested in receiving information from potential future managers of the site, including similar or new uses compliant with local land use and permitting. The subject area consists of an approximately 37-acre portion of a County-owned parcel (Assessor's Parcel Number 725-15-008) within Coyote Creek Parkway. The County is providing this process to give public or private entities (each, a "Responder") an opportunity to inform the County of Responders' interest and capabilities to perform the desired services in accordance with the County's requirements. While the County is encouraging innovative proposals, the County will not consider proposals for general recreational sports amenities or facilities such as basketball courts, golf courses, pickle ball or tennis courts, soccer field, etc., that are not compatible uses with the historic nature of the site. Information obtained from this RFI may be used to determine the feasibility and options available to the County, clarify the County's desired approach, and provide a basis for preparing a formal solicitation process through a Request for Proposal (RFP). Regardless of the response to the RFI there is no guarantee of a subsequent formal solicitation process. The County may elect to issue a formal RFP based on the information received from a single Responder or a combination of information received from multiple Responders, or it may not elect to issue a formal RFP. Based on the information received, the County may elect to proceed with a Sole/Single Source recommendation to the Board of Supervisors. The County invites qualified Responders to submit information ("Responses").
