The scope of work generally includes traffic signal improvements i.e., traffic signal controller assemblies, traffic signal vehicular sig- nals, vehicular detection, controller timing adjustments, and other construction elements associated with traffic signals. The bid will be for furnishing all labor, materi- als, supervision, and services associated with the Exeter Township Traffic Signals Upgrade Project. Bids will have a tentative award date of November 24, 2025. Faxed bids will not be accepted. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond, certified check or cashier's check, in favor of Exeter Township in the amount of not less than 10% of the total amount of the bid. The successful bidder shall be bound to furnish and pay for a Performance Bond and a Labor & Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, on bond forms provided by Exeter Township. All bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified and must com- plete a non-collusion affida- vit. This contract is in accor- dance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and the successful bidder shall pay no less than the Wage Rates determined for the project as stated in the Contract docu- ments. There is a zero per- cent (0%) requirement for DBE participation. Exeter Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and or all bids on any basis and to waive any informality in the bidding, as permitted by law.
