Sealed bids are requested for the Performing Arts Center Stage Rigging Replacement at Middlesex College. Plans and specifications must be downloaded from the designated website. Bidders are encouraged to submit bids via certified mail or overnight delivery, or hand-deliver them to the specified location. Required bid documents must be returned notarized with seal and signature, and include items such as the Contractor's Proposal, Pricing Proposal Form, Bidder's Qualifications, Board of Trustees Letter, Performance Record, Explanation of Qualifications, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Bid Security, Consent of Surety, Qualification Form, Mandatory Equal Opportunity Language, Statement of Ownership Disclosure, Disclosure of Investment Activities in Iran, Certification of Non-Involvement in Prohibited Activities in Russia or Belarus, and additional forms and licenses as specified. Compliance with the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act and other applicable regulations is mandatory. The successful bidder must provide certified payroll records for each payroll period. Bidders must comply with the Business Registration Act, the Public Works Contractors Registration Act, and may be required to provide various certificates and a performance/payment bond as stipulated. Prequalification in accordance with the standards by the State of New Jersey, Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction is required. The Owner reserves the right to select any combination of bids, award the contract in part or whole, and to waive informalities or reject any or all bids as allowed by law.
