Vannoy Construction is seeking to pre-qualify contractors to submit bids for furnishing labor, materials, tools, and equipment for several renovation and expansion projects in Jackson County, North Carolina. The projects include: Fairview Elementary School Kitchen and Cafeteria Expansion, Smoky Mountain High School Athletics Improvements, New Jackson County Administration Building, Jackson County Jail Expansion, Blue Ridge School Expansion and Renovation, Canada Fire Department Expansion, JCPS Replacement Bus Garage, and Jackson County Courthouse Renovations. The scope, magnitude, and schedule for each project are approximate and subject to change. Tentative bid packages include selective demolition, turnkey concrete, masonry, structural steel, finish carpentry and casework, waterproofing and sealants, EIFS and stucco, roofing, doors/frames/hardware, glass and glazing, metal studs/drywall/insulation, hard tile flooring, interior ceilings, resilient flooring, painting and coatings, specialties, signage, protective covers, food service equipment, detention equipment, window treatments, fabricated structures, elevators, fire protection systems, plumbing systems, mechanical systems, electrical systems, turnkey site development, special foundations, and athletic surfacing. Additional packages may be added or deleted at the discretion of the Construction Manager. Historically underutilized business participation is encouraged.
