Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Millbrook, New York. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This project will remove the existing structure that carries Route 82 over the Metro North Rail Line in Hopewell Junction in the Town of East Fishkill in Dutchess County to create an at-grade crossing of Route 82 with the Metro North Railroad service track to the Hopewell Yard. The work will also include the installation of a pedestrian culvert to reroute pedestrian traffic from the Empire State Trail under Route 82 north of the existing bridge location. The project will also replace the existing signalized intersection of Route 82 and Beekman Road with a single lane roundabout to improve safety and operations. NYSDOT Region: 08 Hudson Valley The current status of the project is In Development. The Bid Opening is expected to be in Winter 2026/2027. Construction is expected to begin in Spring 2027. Construction is expected to be completed in Fall 2028. As of October 14, 2025, the project is in Conceptual status. Anticipated letting Year is 2026.
