Site work for a mixed-use development in University City, Missouri. Conceptual plans call for site work for a golf course; and water / sewer project.

The City of University City proposes to select a qualified firm/team to provide professional engineering services (Civil) for the Driving Range Restoration, located within Ruth Park Golf Course in The City of University City, Missouri. The selection process for the Driving Range Restoration is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) process. To facilitate the selection of the consultant for this project, interested firms are invited to submit qualifications for consideration. Your submission should contain, at a minimum, the information requested in Section VI of this Request for Qualifications. The primary scope of this project is for the remediation of an existing terrain area at The City of University City's Ruth Park Golf Course Driving Range for storm water runoff control and infrastructure already in place. Existing run off management infrastructure was recently affected by acceptance of dirt spoils in conjunction with an unrelated nearby redevelopment and placed and spread over the existing southern (uphill) portion of the range. Prio to the addition of the recent soils the area is reported to have had excessive run-off conditions during storm events causing soil erosion because of the excessive surface storm water flows. The recent placement of the soils on the site was completed by a developer of an unrelated development and was permitted thought St. Louis County & MODNR. The City has an agreement to establish ground cover and maintain the temporary BMPs associated with the new dirt. They will be closing the current open permits as soon as practicable. Contact Person: The City of University City has retained the services of Navigate Building Solutions to serve as the Owner's Representative. Technical questions concerning this project scope may be directed to David Lowell, David@NAVIGATEbuildingsolutions.com. Copy Timika Lewis, tlewis@ucitymo.org. A recommended selection will be forwarded to The City of University City City Counsil for their consideration and approval. Negotiation of the Consultant contract is expected to commence directly thereafter. Interested firms and all representatives thereof are prohibited from contacting any The City of University City, City Council or staff until after a final selection has been made. Owner reserves the right to approve all assigned personnel and may require the firm to replace members of the project team as deemed necessary. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all qualifications and to waive any irregularities. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
