The playground and all associated equipment must fit within a designated area measuring 68 feet by 39 feet and comply with applicable Florida statutes and codes. Playground design should be for school age children from 5-12 years old. An ADA-compliant access ramp must connect to an existing sidewalk and provide inclusive access to the playground. The site must be fully enclosed by a fence. The City will remove the existing playground on site as well as remove as much playground mulch as possible. All metal components must be stainless steel or hot-dipped galvanized due to the site's proximity to the Halifax Intracoastal Waterway. This project is subject to a fixed budget of $102,966.
