OPRHP requires the installation of a chain-link fence that will provide for storage and security for Bayswater Point State Park. The fence will be rectangular shape, 120 foot length by 45 foot width. The fence height will be 10 feet. The swing gate entry will be 32 feet total, with two (2) 16 foot swing gates. Question Deadline 10/24/2025 at 3:00 PM ET Vendor Questions Due The work under this RFQ has been determined to be a public work pursuant to Article 8 (Construction) / 9 (Building Services in excess of $1,500) of the New York Labor Law which requires prevailing wages to be paid. A willful violation of such may result in civil penalties and debarment from public contracting in the State of New York. The fence height will be 10 feet. The fence will have a swing opening gate in front, centered the lodge entrance side, with final location to be determined solely by OPRHP. The swing gate entry will be 32 feet total, with two (2) 16 foot swing gates. GPS coordinates as well as mock-up image are provided in Exhibit A - Fence Coordinates and Image, attached hereto. It is mandatory for prospective bidders to arrange a site visit prior to the Vendor Questions Due date, to draw-up design and footings plan for submission with their RFQ response. The maintenance yard fence will require the following materials: 1) Chain-Link Fence a. Black Painted Robust Finish b. Galvanized Steel 2" x 9 ga. Chain-link Mesh, Commercial Grade c. 10 foot height 2) 3" Corner Posts SS40 cemented 3' deep in the ground 3) 2-1/2" Line Post SS40 cemented 3' deep in the ground 4) 1-5/8" SS20 Top, Bottom and Middle Rail 5) All black pipes and hardware 6) One (1) Swing Gate System a. Two (2) 16-foot swing gates (e.g. 32-foot opening), 10-foot height Bidder must provide with their response to this RFQ: o Draft design and footings plan for proposed fence system The awarded vendor (Contractor) must provide within 3 weeks of receiving an executed Purchase Order: o Professional Engineer (PE) to design and provide sealed drawings and blueprints for the entire fence system. Bidders can schedule site visits Monday and Wednesday between 10:00AM - 3:00PM. Contract term: 30 days
