The Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority (Conservation Authority) is looking for eligible firms that would be interested in future Prequalification Requests for the Construction Services for Low Impact Development and Stormwater Retrofit Projects. The Conservation Authority is issuing this Request For Pre-Qualified Vendors to determine which firms meet the minimum Construction Services experience to be considered for future Low Impact Development and Stormwater Retrofit projects, pursuant to the Conservation Authority's Purchasing Policy. The Lake Simcoe Phosphorus Offsetting Policy aids in reducing the volume of phosphorus entering Lake Simcoe. The Water Balance Offsetting Policy provides a consistent approach to groundwater recharge, throughout the watershed. To meet the goal of phosphorous reduction and groundwater recharge under these policies, the Conservation Authority is responsible to collect the offsets and will be responsible to implement stormwater management retrofit projects using through stormwater pond retrofits, streambank erosion and Low Impact Development.
