Sealed Bids will be received for the construction of the 2025 Wastewater Treatment Facility Reconstruction. The Project consists of improvements to the constructed wetlands treatment facility, including controls, meters, pumping of wetlands cells, and other miscellaneous improvements. There are three separate contracts: Contract No. 1 includes replacement of SCADA, controls, flow meters, UV disinfection systems, and other electrical and mechanical items; Contract No. 2 includes removal of sludge from existing wetlands cell infiltrators; Contract No. 3 includes random site improvements such as manholes and structure covers. Bids will be received on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Any prospective Bidder may bid on one, two or all three contracts. Work must start within ten calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed. Contract No. 1 shall be completed by May 1, 2026; Contracts No. 2 and 3 shall be completed by April 1, 2026. The Engineer's cost estimates are $170,000 for Contract No. 1, $20,000 for Contract No. 2, and $50,000 for Contract No. 3. Bidders must submit a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check for 5% of the Engineers estimate for each contract bid. No Bidder shall withdraw their Bid within 60 days after the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities, and to award the Contract in the Owner's best interest.
