Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Wetumpka, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel; and one-story above grade bridge / tunnel.
Elmore County Commission is taking sealed bids for labor, equipment, materials, and any incidentals required to complete bridge maintenance-painting and bridge guardrail installation and repair. Bidders must comply with the Rebuild Alabama Act, No. 2019-2, and Alabama Code Title 39, regardless of whether requirements are explicitly detailed in the proposal. Only bids from contractors or material suppliers listed on the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) approved list will be accepted. All bids must be clearly marked with the word "BID," the Bid Proposal Number, description, bid date, and Alabama General Contractor's License Number. Contractors must meet all ALDOT Bonding and Licensing requirements, comply with all relevant laws, ordinances, and codes, and adhere specifically to the Beason-Hammon Alabama Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act. The county reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or any portion thereof. Specifications can be obtained from the Office of the Deputy Chief Engineer at Elmore County Public Works Department.
