**As of December 12, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The Project generally consists of erosion and sediment control, traffic control, earthwork, drainage improvements, asphalt paving and associated striping, markings and signage for approximately 1,500 LF of roadway improvements on Mt. Carmel Drive from US-278 to CR-1614/1615. The Project includes realignment of the intersection. The Owner requires the Project to be substantially complete in 120 calendar days from the date that the Contract Times commence to run as indicated on the Notice to Proceed. In order to Bid on the Project, the Bidder shall possess a valid General Contractor's license for work in the State of Alabama. The Contractor's license number shall be clearly indicated on the outside of sealed Bid envelopes. Bidder and its Subcontractors shall comply with all applicable licensing requirements of the Code of Alabama, federal and local Laws or Regulations. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid must accompany the bidder's proposal. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) and evidence of insurance as prescribed in the Bidding Documents. Bidders are directed to the Instructions to Bidders - Document 00 21 15 and the other Bidding Documents. Bid shall be submitted on the Bid Form provided. Bidders may supplement this form as appropriate. Your Bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days from the date of the opening of Bids.
