This section describes minimum material and quality requirements for Liquid Bituminous Materials used for surface treatments, spray patching, and cold bituminous mixtures for municipal roads and highways. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No CR Number: 2127402 Contract term: 1 year with 1 additional year renewal. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five-hundred dollars ($500.00) in the form of a Certified Check, Bank Draft or Bid Bond. Cash will not be acceptable as a deposit. If an awarded bidder fails to enter into a contract with the County following notice of bid acceptance, the bid security shall be forfeited to and become the property of Chemung County. No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five days after the date of the bid opening. The County of Chemung reserves the right to reject any and all bids submitted and to waive any informality.
