Grays Harbor County is seeking to enter into a professional services contract with a consulting firm to provide task-based structural engineering services for a two-year period, with the potential for extension. The work will involve structural design and investigations on existing and newly constructed bridges. The successful bidder must be able to respond quickly to assigned projects, including those with expedited schedules or short-term deadlines. Tasks may include load rating, bridge inspection, fracture critical inspection, and bridge repair design. The County will assign work on a task assignment basis to determine required services for each project. Interested bidders must submit a proposal detailing their ability and availability to perform in accordance with these requirements, demonstrating staffing expertise, past experience, performance evaluations, ability to meet schedules, available resources including specialty inspection equipment, and response time. Proposals should also include qualifications, experience, and involvement of assigned personnel on similar projects, along with project names, descriptions, and contact information, and must be limited to eight pages, double-sided if necessary.
