The Contractor shall furnish all labor, services, materials, supplies and other facilities and things necessary and proper for or incidental to the completion and finishing of the work contemplated by the Contract Documents in the most thorough, workmanlike and substantial manner in strict compliance with the Contract Documents and to the satisfaction of the Engineer. Sealed proposals are requested for the "Well No. 6 Rehabilitation" project, H2M Project No.: WHWD2502. Hard copy bidding documents are available upon deposit of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for each set, payable to H2M architects + engineers and sent to their New York office. Proof of deposit must also be emailed. Deposits are fully refundable upon return of plans and documents within thirty days of contract award or bid rejection. Digital bidding documents can be downloaded from h2mplanroom.com for a non-refundable fee of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00). REVplans and h2mplanroom.com are the only official sources for distributing and obtaining bid package information. Bidders are urged to register to receive bid addenda. Addenda will be sent to registered holders via email and available for free hard copy issuance on request. Each bid proposal must include a certified check or bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount payable to the West Hempstead Water District, as a commitment to enter into a contract and execute any required security for contract performance. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and accept the bid deemed in the Owner's best interest.
