Arden Hill Campus - Regional Education Center (Main Building) - Additions & Alterations This project involves a new Gymnasium Addition (Gymnasium, Multi-Purpose Room, Support Spaces) to the Existing Regional Education Center (Main Building). Additional work includes full roofreplacement and window replacement to the Main Building. Gibson Road Campus - Additions and Alterations to Axelrod This project is an addition and renovation to the existing Axelrod Special Education School Building located at the Gibson Road Campus. Renovation work includes renovations to classroom spaces, toilet rooms, corridors, stairways, Auditorium and Cafeteria. Additional work includes foil roof replacement and exterior door and window replacement throughout. Upgrades to HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems will be provided throughout the interior renovated areas. A new Main Entrance Addition will be constructed with a Lobby, Security Vestibule, Main Office suite and exterior canopy. Site improvements include renovations to the front plaza, sidewalks and paving. Gibson Road Campus -Additions and Alterations to Career and Tech Building (CTEC) This project involves additions and renovations to the existing Career and Technical Institute Building (CTEC) at the Gibson Road Campus. Renovation work includes renovations to general classroom spaces and other specialty classrooms spaces (shops, labs, etc.). Renvoations will also occur at the ktichesn, toilet rooms, corridors, and stairways. Additional work includes foil roof replacement and exterior door and window replacement throughout. Upgrades to HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems will be provided throughout the interior renovated areas. The existing 400 Building will be demolished. A new security vestibule addition will be provided at the Main Entrance. Two additional building additions will create additional classroom spaces and a multipurpose room. Site improvements include sidewalks, driveways, landscaping, utilities, and other paving. New Work: a. Provide and install roofing scope as shown, including patching, coverings, flashings, roof specialties and glazed openings. The roofing shall be by the Roofing Contractor, along with all necessary supports, waterproofing, manufacturer inspection ect. a. Provide and Install new roof, as directed in and/or via approved Alternates, as specified. It is the intent to provide a new roofing system, per the manufacturer, with warranty as noted. Provide workmanship and material that will satisfy the requirements of the manufacturer. b. Provide new insulation, taper if required for slope, and other deck infill/backing. Provide all fasteners, chemically and/or mechanically as required per the manufacturer. c. Provide metal scope, including but not limited to ladders, copings, scuppers, terminations, flashing, riglets, and counterflashing, gutters/leaders ect as shown. This includes prep work, anchors, coring, patching and tie-in to when existing is to remain and adjoin to new work. d. Provide and Install all rough and finish carpentry, blocking and fascia work as shown or as required per manufacturer requirement of roofing manufacturer and mechanical equipment installation e. Once the new roof is installed, metal coping, caps, fascia will commence on the roof and not delayed to another construction season. f. Provide and Install flashing, counter-flashing repair and elastomeric coatings, through wall flashing with reglet details as shown. g. Provide roof walkway pads up to and entirely around all roof mounted mechanical equipment per the detail shown h. Plumbing Contractor to tie in roof drains below deck to roof drain system. i. Provide expansion joints as shown. j. Provide thermal and moisture protection. k. Provide Warranty Training on new system. l. Where new work abuts existing work, care shall be taken to seem the work together keeping a watertight connection and aesthetics acceptable to the Architect and Manufacture.
