As of November 18, 2025, project is cancelled. No definite date for the rebid. It is the intent of this solicitation to engage one (1) qualified contractor to provide the required construction services in the North Donnelly Street area for slope stabilization, erosion control and sidewalk improvements as per the Scope of Work, Specifications and Plans found in this ITB. It is the intent of the City of Mount Dora to obtain Bids from qualified and experienced, commercial utility contractors to provide the required services to the City of Mount Dora, the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) and the Northeast Community Redevelopment Agency (Northeast CRA). The Bidder awarded this ITB must meet or exceed all terms, conditions and specifications of the City of Mount Dora. The successful Contractor shall have the capacity and capability to perform the needed services noted herein within the timeframe noted. The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, fuel, equipment, tools, services, and supervision necessary to provide the required services. Project substantial completion shall be at 60 days with final completion 30 days later. The City anticipates this work to start during the winter months to minimize wet weather impact. A firm start date will be determined with the successful Contractor and a Notice to Proceed issued. See attached Exhibit "A" Project Description and Scope of Work, Exhibit "B" Special Conditions, Exhibit "C" Technical Specifications and Exhibit "D" Project Plans to include information that will identify, quantify, describe, and define the work to be performed. The City of Mount Dora is accepting electronic responses only for sealed Invitation To Bid ITB# 26-PW-007 to provide certain commercial construction services. The project involves North Donnelly Street slope stabilization, erosion control, and sidewalk improvements. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is applicable for this solicitation.
