Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The project consists of the construction of a parking lot, sidewalk, slabs for picnic tables and the addition of a bike rack and trash receptacles for a skate park in the Cuero Municipal Park in Cuero, Texas. The project is being funded in part by a grant from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD). All contractors/subcontractors that are debarred, suspended or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal programs may not undertake any activity in part or in full under this project. Small and minority businesses, women owned business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit bids. Bidders must submit a bid bond, cashier's or certified check payable without recourse to the order of the City of Cuero, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid submitted as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute bonds and guarantee in the forms provided within fifteen (15) days after Notice of Award of contract to him. Bids submitted without the required security will not be considered. OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids.
