Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The 12" force main from Pump Station No. 2 located at 530 Mooney Road NE to the County force main at 541 Park View Road NW needs to be replaced. The existing force main has broken a couple of times over the last few years due to severe corrosion, resulting in heavy fines from sewer entering surface waters of the Golf Course and Bass Lake. As of October 20, 2025, this project is in the planning phase. An engineer has not been selected. A firm timeline for constructoin has not been determined. The project is included in the City of Fort Walton Beach's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
