Site work for a road / highway in Durham, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The City of Durham Department of Transportation is requesting bids for the project described above. This project consists of the installation of rapid rectangular flashing beacons within the City of Durham, NC. Sign and pavement marking work is ancillary to this project. This project shall conform to the North Carolina Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures, January 2024 and any addendum. The completion date is 180 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed. Contractor shall furnish materials and equipment needed to install the signal, including procuring soil tests and furnishing the metal poles. Liquidated damages for this project are $600.00 per calendar day for failure to complete this project by the completion date.
