Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a development in New Scotland, New York. Completed plans call for the addition of a development; for the demolition of a development; for the renovation of a development; and for site work for a development.
A. The Project consists of the following separate contracts: Construction Work Project No. 47337 -C HVAC Work Project No. 47337 -H Plumbing Work Project No. 47337 -P Electrical Work Project No. 47337 -E B. The suffix letter at the end of the project number distinguishes the separate Contracts. The Sections in Division 01 of the Specifications which have more than one suffix letter (such as this Section) are common to each related Contract. MBE Goal: 0% WBE Goal: 0% SDVOB Goal: 3% Design for this project commenced after January 1, 2020. Pursuant to Public Buildings Law 8(6), effective January 11, 2020, for any projects where the project design commenced on or after January 1, 2020 and for any contracts over $5,000 for the work of construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, or improvement of any State building, a responsible and reliable NYS-certified Minority or Women-Owned Business Enterprise that submits a bid within ten percent of the lowest bid will be deemed the apparent low bidder provided that the bid is $1,680,923 or less, adjusted annually for inflation as of March 1, 2025. The undersigned agrees that the bid security shall be subject to forfeiture if this bid is accepted by the state and he/she does not submit executed copies of the agreement within ten (10) days of receipt of a written request to provide such agreement. A performance bond and a labor and material bond, each in an amount equal to the contract sum, shall be supplied with the executed agreement and shall be the statutory form of public bonds required by sections 136 and 137 of the state finance law. If more than one responsible and reliable MWBE firm meets these requirements, the MWBE firm with the lowest bid will be deemed the apparent low bidder. Estimated Cost: $250,000 - $500,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The state reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
