Project Description: Project consists of, but is not limited to the following scope: 1. Abatement of Hazardous Materials in an office suite. 2. Reconfiguration of walls and patching of ceilings in an office suite. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: 1. This is a single Contract Project consisting of the following prime contract: a. General Building Construction. Bid bond payable to the owner shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after opening of bids. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. All potential bidders must self perform a minimum of 20% of the work associated with the contract that they submit bids for. Proof of self performance requirements shall be provided following the bid as required in the instructions to Bidders. Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to re-advertise for new bids and to waive informalities and irregularities in connection with any bid.
