The School Board of Palm Beach County, Florida invites Certified General Contractors or Certified Building Contractors prequalified by the School Board . The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER shall provide all Preconstruction Phase Services necessary to establish a GMP as well as all Construction Phase Services following Award of the GMP for the school identified in this Project Notification. The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER may be required to complete portions of the construction on an occupied campus as directed by the OWNER. The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER shall provide the remodel, renovation, and/or building addition of core-related spaces, which may include the dining/stage area, kitchen, clinic, administration spaces, media center, restrooms, exterior corridor access, and related parking areas, with site modifications as needed. The CMAR shall provide the following services during the Preconstruction Phase: Provide cost analysis Provide estimates for the construction of the following three design phases Schematic Design Phase Design Development Construction Document Development Provide a project schedule and phase plan as directed by the owner Review and offer design recommendations for the building, structural, and mechanical systems during the three design phases Construction shall incorporate all of the requirements outlined in the Permitted Construction Documents, School District of Palm Beach County Master Specifications, District Design Criteria, State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF) 2014, Florida Administrative Code (FAC) Chapter 6A-2 and Florida Building Code. The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER shall prepare all Project Documents in accordance with the requirements stated in Department of Education's Chapter 6A-2, SREF and FAC.
