Us72 & Hine Street Pedestrian Crosswalk Us72 & Hine Street Pedestrian Crosswalk Project Consists of: Installation of Two New Pedestrian Pole/foundations and Signal Heads With Audible Push Buttons Traffic Signal Timing Changes Sidewalk/curb Addition of Ramps/crosswalk North and South Sidewalk Sector Connections Along Hine Street Pavement Markings and Striping Changes to Accommodate New Crosswalk. No Prebid Meeting Will Be Held. A Cashiers Check or Bid Bond Payable to City of Athens, Al in an Amount Not Less Than Five (5) Percent of the Amount of the Bid, but in No Event More Than $10,000, Must Accompany the Bidder's Proposal. Performance and Statutory Labor and Material Payment Bonds, and Insurance in Compliance With Requirements, Will Be Required at the Signing of the Contract. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Proposals, to Waive Technical Errors and/or Abandon the Prequalification and Bid Process if, in Their Judgment, the Best Interests of the Owner Will Thereby Be Promoted.
