Demolition and renovation of an educational facility in Joliet, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 77,000-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.

Project consists of Building D Re-Roof, approximately 28,000 sq ft, for summer 2026 construction. Locker Room Renovations approximately 23,000 sq ft. Miscellaneous Renovations approximately 26,000 sq ft. Phased completion dates ranging from summer 2026 to December 2026. Renovation Work includes: Demolition Work, Masonry Work, Carpentry, Casework & Millwork, Glass & Glazing Work, Drywall & Framing Work, Resilient Flooring Work, Painting Work, Acoustical Ceilings Work, Tile Flooring & Wall Tile Work, Resinous/Terrazzo Flooring Work, Fire Protection Work, Plumbing Work, HVAC Work, Electrical, Low Voltage & Fire Alarm Work. Substantial completion is scheduled for December 2026. Bid packages include: 02B Demolition Work 03B Building Concrete Work 04B Masonry Work 05B Structural & Miscellaneous Steel Work 06C Carpentry Work 07B Roofing Work 08B Glass & Glazing Work 09F Drywall & Framing & Acoustical Work 09G Resilient Flooring Work 09H Painting Work 09I Tile Flooring & Wall Tile Work 21B Fire Protection Work 22B Plumbing Work 23B HVAC Work 26B Electrical Work The bidding of this Project will be through Procore Bidding. Bid Security in the form of a bid bond of ten percent of the base bid is required. No other forms of Bid Security will be accepted. Guarantee Bonds in the form of a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent of the bid will be required from the awarded Bidder. The work will be done in accordance with the Contract Documents. Contractors and subcontractors must comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, including all wage, notice, and record-keeping duties. Joliet Township High School District 204 and Gilbane Building Company reserve the right to reject any or all bids. All information submitted is considered public information unless specifically disclosed otherwise by the Bidder. Bidders who are not pre-qualified will have their bids returned unopened.
