Site work for a communication facility in Sylvania Township, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade communication facility.
NOTE: The bid date has been extended to November 12, 2025, at 11:00am. Sealed bids are requested for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the Sylvania Downtown Utility Conversion to Underground. Each proposal must include a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond as per Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security in Bond form must be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio. Each proposal must include the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Lucas County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce. All bids must be submitted using the electronic bidding process on Bid Express. Potential bidders must register on www.bidexpress.com and create an Info Tech Digital ID. The City of Sylvania reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids submitted on any basis and without disclosure of a reason. Question Deadline 10/31/2025: All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be submitted electronically in writing and directed to Engineer. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
