The project is officially known as "North Pointe Subdivision Ditch Reconstruction" for the Village of Dieterich, Illinois. The work consists of constructing 1,327 square feet of concrete basin and other appurtenances required to complete the project. P.C.C. Concrete Pavement 6" Aggregate Base Course, Type A, 4" # 3 Rebar 18" Long Seeding & Mulching Proposals must be submitted in a separate, sealed envelope endorsed with "North Pointe Subdivision Ditch Reconstruction" and must include the name of every person or firm interested in the proposal. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond, bank cashier's check, bank draft, or certified check for not less than five percent of the bid amount. A surety bond for the full amount of the award is required. Failure to deliver materials or complete the work as specified may result in forfeiture of the surety. Proposals may not be withdrawn for 45 days from opening or will be subject to forfeit the five percent bid bond provided. Contractors must comply with the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act, paying at least prevailing wages established by the Illinois Department of Labor and applicable at the time of the work. Monthly certified payrolls must be submitted. Contractors must maintain Commercial General Liability Insurance naming the Village of Dieterich and Milano & Grunloh Engineers, LLC as insured parties.
