Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Nash, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot.
Bids are invited for work including installation of sidewalks, crosswalks, drainage improvements, and pedestrian lighting along the south side of New Boston Road, between Elm Street and Pecan Street. Bid/Contract Documents, including Drawings and Technical Specifications, are available for review at Nash City Hall and with MTG Engineers & Surveyors, Inc. Electronic copies can be obtained at no charge or printed copies for $75.00 per set by contacting MTG Engineers & Surveyors, Inc. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety must be submitted for contracts exceeding $100,000. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Nash, or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value), may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Not less than the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the Department of Labor and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. The successful bidder must ensure nondiscrimination regarding race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin in employment. All contractors and subcontractors must be cleared (not suspended or debarred) before award authorization. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, Veteran-Owned Businesses, and Section 3 Businesses are encouraged to submit bids. All iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used must be produced in the United States in compliance with the Build America, Buy America Act, unless an approved waiver is obtained. The City of Nash reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Question Deadline 10/28/2025 No oral interpretations will be made to any bidder. Each request for clarification shall be made in writing to the Grant Recipient or engineer no less than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening
