Separate sealed proposals will be received by the Board of Education, Wayland-Cohocton Central School District, for the Wayland-Cohocton Central School District 2025 Capital Outlay Project - Gym 21. Separate bids are requested for the following Prime Contract: General Contract (Contract 101). Bids must be accompanied by a valid NYS Department of Labor Certificate of Registration, required bid security, and all other required data; incomplete or irregular bids may be rejected. Instructions to Bidders, Form of Proposal, General Conditions, Drawings, and Specifications may be examined at specified offices. Bidders for Prime Contract Work may obtain Contract Documents at Rotolite Elliott upon payment of a deposit per set and shipping charges. As alternatives, bidders may provide their own shipping account information, pick up documents in person, or view electronic plans and specifications online for a fee. Bids must be submitted in duplicate as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders, in a properly marked envelope. Bids for more than one contract require separate submission envelopes. A Bid Bond or Certified Check for five percent (5%) of the bid amount must be included as a guarantee, and bidders must be prepared to execute a contract and furnish performance and payment bonds within ten days of award. Bidders are required to adhere to conditions of employment and minimum wage rates specified, commence work immediately after contract signing, and diligently prosecute the work. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive informalities and reject any or all bids. Any Bidder upon returning such set-in good condition within thirty (30) days after Bid opening will be refunded the deposit. Any Bidder after thirty (30) days after Bid opening or Non-Bidder so returning such a set will not be refunded.
