Reference Number 0000402130 The Rensselaer County Sewer District No. 1 (RCSD) intends to retain a qualified company (Contractor) to furnish and maintain all permits, labor, materials, and equipment required to remove, transport, and beneficially reuse 100 percent of the daily production of dried, Class A bio-solids from the RCSD's Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), which is located at the Foot of Water Street, Troy, New York 12180. The annual production of dried, Class A bio-solids is expected to be approximately 2,000 wet tons (wT), or 4,000 cubic yards (CY), at a solids content greater than 90 percent. Annual production may vary. Bio-solids reuse shall be by application to agricultural lands, as a component in the production of topsoil, or by other approved off-site reuse methods. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all permits, laboratory analysis and approvals necessary to implement the reuse program. The RCSD is requesting proposals from Contractors to perform this work.
