The scope of these technical specifications is to establish the minimum requirements for the surface preparation and the application of the protective coating system. In addition, the minimum requirements for the equipment utilized to properly prepare the surfaces for coating and the equipment utilized to apply the protective coating system will be outlined in these technical specifications. Fort Bend County Fresh Water Supply District No. 2 (the District) hereby gives notice that sealed unit-price Bids will be received for Lift Station Rehabilitation to Serve the Four Corners Area in Fort Bend County Fresh Water Supply District No. 2 in Fort Bend County, Texas. Bid Security in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a cashier's check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 5.1 of the Supplementary Conditions. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in an amount equal to the Contract Price. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of the Bids without the consent of OWNER. Question Deadline 10/29/2025 at 12:10 PM CT OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive informalities in bidding or accept the Bid or Bids submitted by the responsible Bidder, who, in the judgment of OWNER, will be most advantageous to the Owner and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project.
