Renovation of a municipal facility in Whitby, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This Request for proposals (the RFP) is an invitation by the Regional Municipality of Durham (the Region) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for RFP-1048-2025 Phase 2 renovation and the pre-qualification of general contractors for Phase 3 redevelopment at 1635 Dundas Street East in Whitby as further described in Section D-1 of the RFP particulars (Appendix D) (the Deliverables). It is the intent of the Region to enter into a CCDC-2 contract with the General Contractor for Phase 2 to be awarded as part of this RFP. It is also the intention to prequalify General Contractors through this RFP process to be invited to submit a bid on a subsequent Request for Tender (RFT) (invitational second-stage competitive process) for Phase 3 (budget permitting). The anticipated award date for Phase 2 work is end of December 2025.
