The City is seeking Proposals from qualified Proponents to provide consulting services for a multi-phase extraction assessment and groundwater modelling project, which includes monitoring and soil vapour installations, repairs and long-term sampling, a multi-phase extraction (MPE) pilot investigation, and development of a groundwater model to inform a Rapid Remedial Response Plan. The project tasks include: background review, data gap analysis, and work plan (including potential installation of additional groundwater monitoring wells), monitoring well and vapour probe repairs, installation of additional soil vapour probes along the Surrey Street right-of-way, sampling of all soil vapour probes, construction and operation of a focused multi-phase extraction investigation program, multi-round groundwater sampling program, development of a groundwater flow model, development of a Rapid Remedial Response Plan, final reporting and presentation of results, and project management including meetings. Proponents must have the necessary qualifications and experience to provide these services. Bid document preview, bid opportunity, and award notices are available online.
