Remodeling of a detention facility in Hawkins, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 2,958-square-foot, one-story above grade detention facility.
In general, the work consists of: interior demolition and remodel of the existing wood shop building to construct three program classrooms, a testing room, educational classroom, an office, and toilet room. New windows, doors, finishes, and plumbing, mechanical, electrical systems throughout. Project will need to be coordinated with two other concurrent projects at Flambeau Correctional Center. The Division of Facilities Development, hereinafter termed DFD, hereby announces that it is advertising for bids from certified contractors for the above project. Bid date notes: Hand delivery to the drop box labeled SEALED BIDS ONLY in front of the State of Wisconsin Administration Building located at 101 East Wilson Street, Madison, Wisconsin 53703.
