The proposed FireSmart project is focused on fuel load reduction by removal of coarse woody debris that has been a result of the dwarf mistletoe infestation and weather events. To complete work by conducting treatment up to 20m from roadways and campsites and to reopen an emergency access route, including a gate installation, at the highway. -- All work shall be in accordance with all local and provincial codes and regulations. All work shall be performed by a qualified tradesman. Contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits from the authority having jurisdiction. -- The Contractor shall provide all labour, materials, tools, equipment and services including transportation necessary to complete the Work. The intent is that the Contractor provides a complete job. Demolition and disposal costs are to be included in the contractor's quote. Site is to be clear of all debris upon completion of vegetation removal work -- The contractor shall be responsible for all damages to the buildings, sites, and services as a result of this work, activities of this work and activities of the contractor's workers or their negligent security arrangements.
