To furnish all materials and labor for the roof replacement of Northeast Guilford High School McLeansville, NC Question Deadline 11/11/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Submit questions to REI Engineers, Inc. in writing to the Project Manager's email address listed above no later than 5:00 PM at least 7 days prior to the bid due date A brief description of work in the project follows: 1. Standing Seam Metal Roof - Roof Areas A: a. Prepare low slope roof and provide steep slope retrofit framing to provide specified slope. Ensure retrofit framing and fasteners penetrating roof system are installed in a watertight condition. b. Provide batt insulation over roof system. c. Provide vinyl faced batt insulation and thermal spacers over zee purlins. d. Provide standing seam metal roof panel system along with flashings, trim and accessories. e. Provide snow guard system along eave edge and upslope side of roof penetrations. f. Provide a complete, weathertight, 20-year warrantable roof assembly with 30-year finish warranty. 2. Standing Seam Metal Roof - Roof Areas C: a. Power broom to remove and dispose of the loose roof aggregate, existing roof system to remain. b. Prepare low slope roof and provide steep slope retrofit framing to provide specified slope. Ensure retrofit framing and fasteners penetrating roof system are installed in a watertight condition. c. Provide batt insulation over roof system. d. Provide vinyl faced batt insulation and thermal spacers over zee purlins. e. Provide standing seam metal roof panel system along with flashings, trim and accessories. f. Provide snow guard system along eave edge and upslope side of roof penetrations. g. Provide a complete, weathertight, 20-year warrantable roof assembly with 30-year finish warranty A 5% bid security as well as a 100% Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds are required for this project. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of 60 days. Bidders must be properly licensed for the work in accordance with Section 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. General Contractors must have a general license classification for at least UNLIMITED BUILDING or S (ROOFING) in accordance with the Rules & Regulations of the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors. Minority businesses are encouraged to submit bids for this project. The appropriate forms from the section entitled "Participation by Women and Minority Owned Businesses" must be submitted with each bid to show good faith efforts to obtain Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise participation.
