If you choose to submit your bid in person, Procurement personnel will be available Mondays and Wednesdays between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The person delivering the bid must call (972) 941-7557 upon arrival during those hours and wait in the lobby for someone to meet them to receive their bid. Time Critical Bid Deliveries: The City of Plano cannot guarantee, due to internal procedures, that any bids sent via US mail will be picked up and delivered by the closing date and time. It is recommended that critical bid deliveries be made either electronically through IonWave or in person as described above. It is further recommended that users review all electronic response attachments to ensure the uploaded files are able to be downloaded and viewed. In addition, the City reserves the right to request clarification in such cases. Description of Scope Scope includes resurfacing 20 courts, 2 bleacher pads, and 4 walkways (sidewalks). It will be the contractor's responsibility to remove and reinstall the bleachers under the covered bleacher areas. Courts included in the scope of work are courts 1-10 and courts 12-21. Estimated areas of varying elevation will be addressed during the site visit. Dual use courts (tennis and pickleball) will be resurfaced. Lines will be repainted for both tennis and pickleball. The existing net posts will remain in place during the project The Pro Shop has already been constructed and replaced. Designated Pickleball Courts are out of scope. Center court, court 11, is out of scope. Court Patch Binder is a high strength acrylic latex bonding liquid designed to mix with Silica Sand and Portland Cement as an easy to use patching compound. The patching mix may be used over new or existing asphalt and concrete surfaces to repair depressions, cracks and other irregularities. Court Patch Binder allows for application of quick drying leveling patches up to 3/4" in depth This specification pertains to the application of Acrylic Resurfacer over asphalt and concrete tennis courts and other recreational areas as designated in the Site Plans. The material is to be used as a filler coating to reduce surface porosity and obtain a uniform texture prior to applying the Plexipave Color Surface System. Application shall be equally durable over indoor or outdoor asphalt, indoor concrete and outdoor concrete with a proper vapor barrier in place. 1.2 The work shall consists of suitably cleaning and preparing the asphalt or concrete to assure a satisfactory bond of the Acrylic Resurfacer Filler Mix, and the subsequent application of the quantity of material specified herein. 1.3 Materials shall be delivered to the site in sealed, properly labeled containers and water used in mixing shall be fresh and clear. Coverage rates are based on manufacturer's materials prior to adding sand and mixing with water.
