Reference Number 0000402329 Work will include inspections, testing and servicing of wet and dry sprinkler systems and ansul systems as well as related necessary work at the Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation sites throughout Westchester County. This contract is for a term of five (5) years. Each bidder is required to submit the full set of authorized proposal pages. Failure to submit in this manner may cause the bid to be rejected. In lieu of a performance and payment bond, the County will retain adequate and sufficient security for the faithful performance of this contract which shall be retainage of 10% of all work completed on an annual basis. Upon each annual anniversary, the contractor may request payment of said retainage with the successful completion of all work performed during that period. NO BID BOND IS REQUIRED. it is the goal of the County to use its best efforts to encourage, promote, and increase the participation of business enterprises owned and controlled by persons of color or women - Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women Business Enterprise (WBE). REMINDER: All required licenses should be submitted with the Bid. The County of Westchester reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bids, or to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw its bid within forty-five (45) days after the date of the bid opening.
