The Somerville Housing Authority is seeking a competitive sealed Invitation to Bid (IFB) for 'Full Service' Elevator Preventative Maintenance, Testing, Emergency and Non-emergency Repairs of 17 Elevators at Various Locations in Somerville, Massachusetts, SHA Job No. #P-ELV-112025, in accordance with the specifications prepared by the SHA Purchasing Department. Contractor must provide twenty-four (24) hour service 7 days a week. General Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Planning and Operation DCAMM in the category of work: Elevator Constructor. Proposals shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than 5% of the greatest possible bid amount (including the amounts bid for any and all alternates) and made payable to the Somerville Housing Authority. Addendums will be posted on the website and shall be the bidder's responsibility to include in bid.
