This project is for a traditional breakpoint nutrient reduction wetland. In general, the work involves, but is not limited to, selective clearing, excavation, grading, steel sheetpile installation, tile installation, water constrol structure and seeding. This project includes around 16,036 cubic yards of earthwork, installation of 1,063 square feet of steel sheetpile, water control structure, 1,985 linear feet of tile installation, 28.5 cubic yards of drainfill, 840 tons of riprap and erosion stone, 90 cubic yards of concrete grout, culvert crossing and 13.3 acres of seeding. Bids must be submitted on the appropriate bid forms provided and shall include a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%). Bidders must also be registered with the Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals & Licensing. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance/Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
