Site work for a water / sewer project in West Perth, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The Mitchell Drinking Water System serves approximately 2,150 residents as well as industrial, commercial, and institutional users. The system sources water from four municipal wells. Wells 1, 2, and 3 supply a shared treatment facility and reservoir, while Well 4 operates independently. The system includes an elevated water tower (1,050 m3), a standpipe (3,900 m3), and a fire pumping station. Well 3, drilled in 1967, draws from a bedrock aquifer and is classified as non-GUDI. It has undergone upgrades to maintain water quality and capacity, and is currently approved for 2,880 L/min. The proposed work consists of constructing a replacement well (Well 3A) with equal or greater capacity, followed by updates to the Permit to Take Water and Drinking Water License. Bid submissions must be completed online; access to bid documents and participation requires a paid fee for either an annual plan or per bid entry. All submissions and communications are to be made in English unless otherwise specified. Public opening of bids will not take place.
