Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Lake Stevens, Washington. Completed plans call for the construction of a 8,643-square-foot, three-story above grade museum.
Sealed bids will be received to construct the Lake Stevens Historical Museum, an 8,643 SF, three-story facility located at 12404 Mill Spur Road. The project includes wood and steel framing, 1-hour rated structural elements, and is targeting LEED Silver certification. Bidder-designed systems include fire suppression, solar generation, and steel stairs. All work is subject to Washington State prevailing wage rates. A 5% bid deposit and subcontractor listing (per RCW 39.30.060) are required. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities per state law. Plans and specs are available at the provided planroom website or by deposit for printed copies. The City of Lake Stevens is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with Title VI, VII, and ADA requirements. The Lake Stevens Historical Museum project is to construct an 8,643 square foot facility, consisting of three floors that will house three tenants, including the Museum. The other two tenants are to be determined. All tenant improvements will be under separate permits. The building shell is composed of wood framed walls, steel columns and beams, and a combination of single-ply membrane and standingseam metal roofing. The floors are open web joists with gypsum concrete topping. Interior walls are wood framed. All structural elements are to be 1-hour rated, and the project is targeting LEED Silver certification. Fire suppression, solar power generation, and steel-framed stairs are to be bidder designed.
