Wewoka Public Works Authority is requesting bids for the construction of Wastewater Collection Improvements. The project includes City Wide Manhole Rehabilitation. All work shall be performed and all construction and materials used and furnished shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by Wall Engineering, LLC. The contract is to be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. Compliance with Labor Standards Contract Provisions is mandatory, as well as with the Davis Bacon Act if the total project cost exceeds $10,000,000. Bids must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or a Bidder's Bond for five percent of the bid amount as a guarantee to perform the contract and furnish required bonds. Construction, Maintenance, and Statutory Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price are required and must be obtained from a Corporate Surety licensed in Oklahoma. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to correct any non-material clerical errors. Bids are to remain in effect for 90 days after the bid opening. System for Award Management (SAM) registration is required for all applicants and awardees. Each bidder must also submit a sworn statement affirming there has been no collusion regarding the bid.
