It shall be the bidder's responsibility to ensure its bid, and any supporting documents are properly received by NOVA Parks. Prior to the bid opening, bidders should request and obtain a written receipt or confirmation from NOVA Parks documenting that the paper or electronically submitted bid was received at the proper location and by the correct date and time. This project includes a new tie-in and waterline to create new connections to the specified RV sites to include installation of new hydrant connections, as well as any associated work. The contractor shall furnish all equipment, material and labor in accordance with the plans and project manual. The pricing should reflect that this project is to be completed by Directional Boring and following the engineered plans provided (Attachment 1), to limit the amount of land disturbance and avoid impact to existing trees or other utilities. Pricing options to be included: OPTION 1: Pricing should include, 1. Tying into the existing well at the Comfort Station, completions of Phase II (6 sites), PHASE II (11sites), and PHASE III (11 sites) according to the phasing plan provided (Attachment 2). 2. Shutoffs to isolate each zone. 3. A wood & gravel foundation base, heat tape and insulation for each hydrant (like what is shown in image 1 on the reference image page). 4. Flagging for any access points 5. As-built drawings once the job is complete. (see Part II of general conditions) OPTION 2: All items in OPTION 1 also to include phase IV (9 sites) according to the phasing plan OPTION 3: All items in option 1&2 also to include Phase V & Phase IV (15 sites). This pricing would be to complete all phases according to the phasing plan. All materials/cut sheets should be submitted as soon as possible after award for the engineer and Nova Parks to review and approve. The timeline to complete the work if awarded, assuming that a notice to proceed would be issued for Dec 1, 2025 would be March 1, 2026, with all connections, testing, restoration and clean up completed. Five percent bid bond or certified check required for all bids over $500,000. All bids and bid bonds shall remain valid for ninety (90) days. Performance and Labor and Material Payment bonds shall be required of the successful bidder for all contracts awarded over $500,000.
