Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Duluth, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project consists of repairs to culverts on Brewery Creek and Buckingham Creek. Work includes grading, bituminous pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalk, catch basin, culvert repointing, culvert roof lining and culvert floor construction. PROJECT LOCATION: Brewery Creek, 5th Street Alley, between 6th Avenue East and 7th Avenue East, Duluth MN. Buckingham Creek, West 5th Street between 12th and 13th Ave West and West 1st Street and 12th Avenue West, Duluth, MN. PREBID MEETING: There will be no pre-bid meeting for this project. ANTICIPATED START DATE: December 1, 2025 ANTICIPATED COMPLETIONG DATE: June 30, 2026 QUESTIONS: Please submit any questions regarding this project via email to tajohnson@duluthmn.gov. Responses will be issued as an addendum to this solicitation. Deadline to submit questions is Monday, November 3, 2025 by 4:00PM CT. PROJECT ENGINEER: Tom Johnson, tajohnson@duluthmn.gov The City of Duluth reserves the right to reject any or all bids, split the award or waive informalities, irregularities or minor deviations from the specifications, if deemed to be in the best interests of the City. Price may not be the only consideration for bid award. Bids must be firm for a minimum of 60 days. Bid Surety: Bid surety in the amount of 5% of the total bid payable to the City of Duluth must be submitted with each bid.
