The Maries R-1 School District (Vienna) is seeking bids for snow and ice removal services at the Maries R-1 School located at 300 4th Street, Vienna, MO 65582. Specifications are as follows: 1. Snow/ice will be removed from the high school parking lot, cafeteria service entry, elementary parking lot, and the bus lanes. 2. Payment will be made at the agreed upon flat rate for each District requested snow/ice removal service. (Not paid by the hour or by the manpower.) 3. Payments are made monthly by the District following the regularly-scheduled monthly board meeting. 4. The District will provide salt on-site for ice removal. 5. The District site must be a high priority. 6. Successful bidder must have an adequate inventory of machinery and manpower to perform the required service. 7. Successful bidder must have liability insurance to cover both personal and property damage as well as providing his/her own workers' compensation insurance. The Maries R-1 School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award the bid in what appears to be the best interest of the school district.
